The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance is to purchase trip insurance. Travel Insurance can protect you in case:

Retreat is canceled during retreat due to weather or natural disaster

    Lost baggage

    Medical expenses

Ayllu Medicina  will not be held responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience that may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control (ie: late arrival/departure of flights, civil disturbance, fire, flood, cyclones, severe weather, acts of God, and acts of government, machinery or equipment failure, or cancellations for any reason.) No refunds will be given if you do not attend the retreat or days not used resulting from the above mentioned.

IMPORTANT: Standard insurance policies typically reimburse only travelers who fall ill during the course of a trip for emergency evacuation or an emergency hospital visit. Beyond that, no policies cover events like a viral outbreak.

In the case of coronavirus, insurance carriers aren’t providing protection against consumers deciding of their own volition to not travel. The exception is cancel-for-any-reason policies. Insurance carriers used to offer these packages for a hefty premium price tag. However, most carriers have stopped offering cancel-for-any-reason policies in mid-February.
